Have been using DVDxDV for two years now, version 1.09 on a pair of MacG5s; my experience is that if you have a DVD that is about 3GB full or less, it works fine. The app takes a long time to load the DVD. But if you have a 4GB, the problems abound! Additionally, if you have made your DVD from a videotape with some control track that is not continuous, the app fails on a number of fronts. For the past couple of days I've been trying to make a .mov file from one of four tracks on a DVD that I made from a VHS tape. The app does not recognize much of the track; just the last 20%. I've given up on DVDxDV! If only I could recover my lost time in past couple days! **Also, many of the glowing reviews in here seem suspiciously bogus and shallow! Caveat Emptor!
